THE PROPOSED NEW DUNEDIN VOLUNTEER FIRE BKIGADE. \%7 ITH a view to the immediate formation V i of a New Fire Brigade, I respectfully request any Gfentlemen who have sent in to the City Council an offer of their services, and who may be desirous of being candidates for the Captaincy of the New Brigade, to lodge their names at the Town Clerk's Office as candidates, on or before|Tuesday, September 21st, at 4 p.m. Any gentleman of experience in Fire Brigade affairs, and who have not yet intimated their willingness to join the new Brigade, but who would be propared so to join and to become candidates for the command, are also invited to loose their names accordingly prior to Tuesday, 21st inst., at 4 p m. The Captain to be elected by the Brigade. The different gentlemen who have applied to be enrolled as members of the new Brigade, are invited to meet the Council's Fire Brigade Committee at the City Council Chambers, Manse street, on Tuesday evening, the 21st instant, at 7.30 o'clock.
