CORPORATION NOTICES CITY OF DUNEDIN. TWO SANITARY INSPECTORS WANTED. ffIHE City Council, acting as the "Local JL Board of Health" for Dunedin City, require the temporary services of two additional Inspectors, for house to house visitation, and to act generally under the directions of the Medical Officer, with a view to effective action under the " Public Health Act," 1872. The preference would be given to persons who may have previously been engaged in si inilar duties elsewhere. Salaries at the rate (each) of Ll5O per annum, the employment to continue during the Council's pleasure ; but in the event of the officers who may be elected giving satisfaction, there is every likelihood that the engagement would hold good for eix months. Applications may be lodged in writing, accompanied by testimonials, at the Town Clerk's Office, Manse street, on or before Wednesday, 15th September instant, at. 5 p.m. Applicants would do well to make themselves known personally to Dr Gillies, the Health Officer, as soon as possible, in order that he may be placed in a position to report to Council as to their fitness for the specially required duties.
