Tbe Union Company’s p.s. Samson returned from Oamaru at 4.1}0 p.m, yesterday, and steamed np lo Dunedin.
The s.s. Express, having received a thorough overhaul and been cleaned and repainted, was taken out of Murray’s floating dock yesterday afternoon.
Tbe Union Company’s s.s. Beautiful Shuturned from her usual trip to Lyttelton, via 1 imn.ru at 2 o clock this nioruing. and steamed alongside tbe bci-gue Woodville to coal, after which she steamed up to Dunedin. She left Lyttelton at ff p.m. on the 7th ; arrived at Tima.ru at u.m. on the Sth; left again for Port Chalmers at 'J p.m,, and arrived as above, having experienced tine weather.
