For the ventilation of mines and tunnels there is no invention to compete with them. _ They work outside the mine or tunnel, and will act and draw away foul air, smoke, or dusty particles for any distance. All that requires doing is to add another length of pipe as the the tunnel progresses. To saw-mill and factory proprietors they are invaluable, as can bo practically shown at our Cumberland street Factory, Chips, shavings, sawdust, or other refuse can be drawn from the machines making it, and carried to a receptacle wherever thought most suitable. After the tubes are fixed no other attention is necessary, and the Fan is Perfectly Noiseless. We also have Wood-work-ing Machinery, Band Saw Machines, Belting, and we may say nearly all requisites for factory or saw-mill purposes.
