CITY COUNCIL.
A special meeting of the City Council was held this afternoon at 4 o'clock, to consider a report from the Finance .Committeo relative to a proposed alteration in the form o municipal bond ; also as to borrowing 1.50,000 on security of the City rates, and to obtain from Parliament an extern don of borrowing from 1/200,000 to L 300,000. As the Council sat m committee for an hour preparatory to bringing up the report, we arc compelled to hold ovn our account of the matter till to-iimn-ow.
