CORPORATION NOTICES CITY OF DUNEDIN. VOLUNTEER FIRE BRIGADE. THE existing Brigade having announced their intention to disband within the course of a few weeks, the City Council, as representing the citizens of Dunedin, are desirous to take steps for the construction of a new Volunteer Fire Brigade. With this object in view, his Worship the Mayor respectfully invites all gentlemen who may be willing to be enrolled as members of the proposed new Brigade to lodge their names and addresses, by letter or otherwise, at the Town Clerk’s office. Manse street. So soon as a sufficient number of applications for enrolment shall have been lodged with the Council, the Maj or purposes convening a meeting of the proposed members, in order to elect the Brigade’s Officers and to do other business to the establishment of the Brigade on a permanent and satisfactory footing.
