THE CLUTHA RAILWAY.
To the Editor. Slß,—lt is to Ido hoped that the railway authorities will use their utmost endeavors to accommodate the public on the holiday on Thursday, as, doubtless, very many will avail of a run into the country on that day if trains run at suitable hours, and frequently. But if only the two advertised trains run, viz., 7.30 a.m. and 4.15 p.m., there might l,s no holiday at all, and many hundreds will be disappointed. I am, &c., t. .. . Citizen. Dunedin, x\ugust 30.
