The SAY. wind which has prevailed for the last few days Iris brought one of our expected Home ships to the Head ?. Early this morning the signals auuo'.meed the arrival of the ship Altcar, from London, and, after towing up the barque Memento, the tug Geelong returned to the Heads to tow up the Altear. Shortly after getting outside the Heads, however, the wind increased, with heavy squalls, and it being nearly high water it was not deemed prudent to attempt- to tow her in. Tho Geelong therefore returned, but will proceed down again and tow her up to her anchorage as soon as the weather moderates.
