A careful analysis of the House gives the following as very close to the probable result of the division on the Abolition Bill: Forty-seven will vote for carrying itithrough all its stages] six are -doubtful—they will vote with the Government for the second reading, but favor its reference to constituencies. The Opposition numbers twenty-two. Messrs Reid and Montgomery are unlikely to join with the latter in offering factious opposition, but will endeavor to amend the Bill in Committee.
