A number of who were in the yard then ran away. With a bucket of water he put out the lire. "William Iliordau. thirteen years old, said that on the night in question lie was in company w.th prisoner and «.thar boys. One of of them named Win. Mya'i proposed to prisoner that they should set lire to M.‘llrn ror’s Stable, and tiers got “ Mac" and the others out at the back, when he (Myall) would rush, in to the bar and steal the Money from the til!, Prisoner Lindsay, Myall, and witness, were then present Lindsay and prisoner .afterwards got some straw, put it into the stable.and set lire o it. They all the ran away. When witness bad got as far as the York Hotel he heard some one scream out “ tire,” and on going back, found the fire bad been put out. idyall and Lindsay were next examined, both denying all. knowhuge of the matter. The charge was adjourn,-.d fora week for the pr duel ion of further evidence.
