A Lodge of the I 0. of Good Templars was successfully opened at Kensington yesterday evening by the D.D.G. W.C.T., Bro. Jago and othcers of the District Lodge. There was a large attendance of visiting brethren. The new lodge was named “ The Dayspring,” and the following were duly install'd officers for the ensuing term :-G.W.(VJL’., Bro. Walker was recommended as L. D. The proceedings throughout were of amost enjoyable description. The result shows that Good Templar ism has a stronghold in Kensington and the surrounding townships on the Flat.
