PUBLIC NOTICE is Hereby Given, that the Nomination of Candidates for the office of Councillor for South Ward in room of Henry John Walter, resigned, elected Mayor, will be declared on Friday, the 6th day of August instant, at the Terrace of the Provincial Council Chambers, Water street, at the hour of 12 o’clock noon. Nominations, in form of Schedule D of “ The Otago Municipal Corporations Ordinance, 1865,” may be lodged at the Town Clerk’s Office, Manse street (where blank forms may be obtained), on or before noon of the day herein fixed for the declaration.
