RESIDENT MAGISTRATE’S COURT.
Friday, July 30. (Before J. Bathgate, Esq., R.M.)
John Dick v. Robert Carrick.—Plaintiff applied that the proceeds of the judgment in the cas °f Garrick v. Pyke should not ho paid over to the plaintiff in that case, until ho should have satisfied a judgment recovered against him by the applicant.—The application was granted.
Edward Lyons v. Alexander M’Kcnzic.— This was a judgment summons for LB 18s 6d. The defendant was ordered to pay the amount by monthly instalments of LI; m default of any one payment thirty days’ imprisonment. Judgment was given by default in the following cases, wjth eases: —Buchananv, George Thompson, claim of 30s for goods supplied; the ‘ Guardian ’ Printing Company v. It. L, Livingstone, of Oamaru, L 49 for papers: Guthrie and Larnaoh v. Ollinshaw, L4817s 7d for timber supplied.
