OUR FOOTPATHS.
To the Editor. Sia,—l would desire to sail the attention of those whose' duty it is to look after these matters to the state of the footpath opposite Macarthur’s, the watehm&ker, Princes street. Already I know of two gentlemen who have come away with sprained ankles through slipping into the unsightly hole that is left there. How many more there may be who have suffered in the same wav I cannot tell, but I think it a disgrace to tne City that this standing nuisance should have been left there so long, to the danger of the pawers-by.—l am, to., A Citizen. Dunedin, July 30.
