Friday, July 16. (Before H. S. Fish, Esq., and J. S. Hiokson. Esq., JVP.'b.) Drunkenness.—James Wallace, Mary Anne Smith, and John Smith, alias Le Urech, were oach lined ss, with the alternative of twentyfour hours' imprisonment; Allan M'Master 40s,
or three days'. VAGiUhcr.—Joseph Edwards, Wm. Thornhill, aud Wm. Flaherty, three strapping young men, were charged with having no lawful means of support.—Constable Carter said that two of the men came here in the Atia, and that all threo frequented a house of bad repute in Cavcrsham. j his house he believed to be a rectptacle for stolen property.—The Bench held that the charge was not sustainable. The men had money, and the charge must be dismissed, although the police had no doubt good grounds for taking action in the matter.
