The Christchurch Steeplechase of 100 sovs resulted as follows ; Mousetrap, lOst 71b 1 Ivanhoe, 12st 21b 2 Knpai, 10st ... 3 A splendid finish, and the race waa won by a length. Ivanhoe was ridden out. Medora fell at the second hurdle. Hack Steeplechase, of 23 sov.s. Lunatic 1 Phantom 2 Seven hundred people were on the course.
