Disastrous inundations have occurred at Toulouse through the overflowing of the river Garonne, A hundred persons are known to have been drowned, but there were probably many more deaths. The German Court of Appeal has convicted Count Arnim on the charge of unlawfully removing State documents, and sentenced him to nine months’ imprisonment.
