The barque Prospector was towed to Dunedin this morning by the tug Geelong. The ship Leucadia was removed from the railway pier and anchored iu the stream this morning . The s.a. The ship City of Vienna, from Port Chalmers, arrived at Astona, California, on May 17 w ?nganui left the Bluff at 4.30 p.m. on the 26th, arrived at the port at 8 a.m. yesterday and proceeded to Dunedin. Lyttelton, Jane 27.— The Collector of Customs has held an inquiry in the case of three vessels which had sustained damage at sea. Of the barque Speedwell, the captain stated the vessel, on the voyage fiom Newcastle to Lyttelton, had sustained damage through stress of weather to the amount of L3OO. The barque Fleur do Maurice, the captain stated that, in the voyage from Newcastle te Lyttelton, the vessel had sustained damage through stress of weather to the amount of L4O. The barque William Gifford, the captain stated, when the gale commenced, on June sth, the vessel was lying at Oanmrn, and obliged to put to sea. She ran before the gale to Lyttelton; damage sustained, Ll2O June 29,— Arrived: Hawea, s.s., from PorJChalmere, at 9.35 a.m., after a sixteen and a*half hours passage. Wellington, June 28.—Arrived: Phoebe, s.s., from Lyttelton.
