W. and increased to a hurricane, wtih a high cross sea. On the 26th she shipped a heavy sea, which stove in the main hatch. At this time the ship was laboring heavily, and bad been hove-to for twelve hours; afterwards had light variable wmds, and passed Cape Farewell on the 4th of June, and Stevens’s Island on the 6th. on which day the wind suddenly shifted to the S E and blew a perfect buiricaucfor six hours, during which she carried away her foretopsail and foretop™a,Bl staysail; from thence along the coast had light baffling winds, and sailed up to her anchorage as above. 0 SHIPPING TELEGRAM.
