The schooner Maid of Otago, which pnt in for supplies, took her departure this morning for Nelson, with a fine S.W. breeze. 8 The barque Frederick Bassill, for Newcastle, sailed yesterday afternoon, with a S.W. wind. HThes.s. Express returned at 7 p.m. yesterday her special tnp to Oamaru, via Kakanni. She iocav * r port at 1 p.m., and brings a cargo of 1,200 bags of grain. Wellington, June 18.—Arrived: Schooner Dunedin, from Dunedin, with cargo of grain, I 8 '-* 1 * Mary Campbell is not yet got off the beach. She is reported to be insured in tne National Insurance Company for L 2.400. Lyttelton, June 16.-The New Zealand Shipping Company have received.telegraphic advices that the following ships had sailed from LondonTeviotft Wellington; Knight of Snowden and British Empire, for Dunedin; Lactma, for LyttelaV. • emigrants, for Auckland: and Cansbrook Castle, for Auckland, with special emigrants from Belfast. The following ships are loading Columbus and White Eagle, for AuckW ;p°Mer Oiief and Howrah, for Wellington : Waikato, for Lyttelton; and Waimea, for Dunedin The Waikato, Waimea, and Howrah will all carrv emigrants. Captain Bose will bring out the Waiiato. A telegram has been received from Maurifni S whu dstatin F the captain of the White Bose (belonging to Shaw, Saville, and Co.), emigrant ship, is dead. The cargo had shifted and required re-stowwg, so the ship had to put in at Mauritius.. She leaves early in June. The emigrants are all well.
