CITY POLICE COURT.
Thursday, June 17. (Before his Worship the Mayor and A. Willis Esq., J.P.’s.) * Drunkenness. - Henry Vezey and James Henry were each fined 6s, with the usual alternative ; Annie Manning and Jane Crawford, 20a or three days. Obscene Language. —Jane Crawford, for making use of obscene language within the hearing of persons passing in Stafford street, was further fined 20s, with the alternative of three days’ imprisonment. Theft.—Alexander Fleming, alias Joseph Fleming, was charged with stealing, on the 16th inst., from the Rattray street jetty, a
sack of oats, of the value of 111 Id, the property of G. F. Reid. The charge was clearly .proved, and prisoner was sentenced to seven nays* imprisonment, with hard labor.
