PVT OTICE is hereby given that a Special i-Lx General Meeting of the Shareholders in the above Society will be held in the Temperance Hall, Moray Place, - on Wednesday, the 16th June instant, at the hour of 8 o’clock in fhe evening, for the purpose of altering the rules of the Society in the following particulars, vis.:—Rule 64, to substitute for the words, “a sura equal to seventy-five per cent, on the profits ” the words ‘‘ such proportion as the committee may determine of the profits.” Rule 66, to substitute for the words “a pro Tata proportion to the extent of seventy-five per cent, on the profits to be realised, shown tip to the last previous balance-sheet,” the words “ such proportion as the Committee may determine of the profits realised.” Also, for the purpose of adding the following rule; -“Shareholders may vote either personally or by proxies, but no person other than a Shareholder shall he appointed a proxy.” JAMES WINTER, Secretary.
