CORPORATION NOTICES CITY OF DUNEDIN. f JIHE CITY COUNCIL invites applieaJL tions from qualified gentlemen for the appointment of City Valuator, under the provisions of the “ Municipal Ordinance” and of the ** Dunedin Waterworks Act, 1874 ” Salary at the rate of L3OO (three hundred pounds) per annum. The duties of the office will embrace an annual valuation of the City for both municipal and water-rating purposes, and such other valuations, in respect of the water supply business, as the necessities of the case and the proper conduct of the department may require. It is believed that to a very great extent the two valuations, though made on a different basis, may be proceeded with, and the requisite notices served simultaneously. The Valuator would not necessarily ha required to devote his whole time to the duties of the office; private business might be added. Duties would have to be commenced at an early date.
