Judgment was given by default in the following cases J. Jenkinson v. Angus Steele, claim Lls 7s 6d, for promissory note; Halfway Bush Road Board v. T. Miller, L 5 17s 6d for rates ; same v. J. Barnes, Inspector of Works, 10s 9d, for three years’ rates. Wasserbreuner v. Horatio Wragg and J. Bannatyne, as trustees in the estate of A. Rutley.—Claim, Ll3 Is 6d, for goods supplied and money advanced. Mr Lewis appeared for plaintiff, and Mr Harris for defendants.— Plaintiff and other witnesses gave evidence and were examined at great length, after which his Worship gave judgment for LlO 16s 6d, with costs.
