WIDENING PRINCES STREET. We understand that a formal demand has been made on the Corporation, on behalf of the tenants interested, for the respective amounts of the awards In the Princes street widening arbitration. The Corporation has also received a notice from the solicitors consulted by the committee appointed at the citizens’ meeting at the Temperance Hall last week not to pay the awards, as they intend to apply at the Supreme Court for an order to set aside the proceedings.
