The misconception therein indicative of the duties and responsibilities of a City Councillor is only equalled by its impertinence. I shall at an early date, so soon as my health is restored, take an opportunity of meeting my constituents. Meantime lam satisfied that, in the opinion of all those whose good opinion I value, my conduct throughout the whole of this business has been that of an honest citizen and faithful representative.
