Sydney, May 13.—R.VF. Stubbs and Co. have faded with direct liabilities r of LIOO.OOO. Barlow, wholesale grocer, and Cohen, ironmonger, have called a meeting of creditors with liabilities, the L2 8.0w, and assets of LIB.OOO. Cohen’s liabilities are LIB.OOO, and the assets L 9,000. London, May B.—The April exports from Britain snow an increase over the previous month's. Wheat is depressed, and metals ore unchanged. At the wool sales competition is unabated, foreign buyers, especially French, operating keenly, and buyers being eager to supply tbe immediate requirements of the trade. The average prices obtained are equal to the highest realised at the March sales. The total sales to date are 26,000 bales.
