Business during tlie week has not been markedly any activity. There is a scarcity ol* carriers m town, and some difficulty Tins been experienced in forwarding goods. There has been considerable mquiry for Henuessy’s enso brandy, candles, and < (nea fruits, and an advance in price lias been established. Hennessy’s case is now held firmly for 31s. Candles command 10$ d. Currants we quote at 4id to 4Jd j Elemo raisins, 7}d ; sultanas, 71/1. In kerosene no change lias to be reported. Sugars are did! of sale, but prices are unchanged. Patna rice is iu short supply, Messrs Maclean Bros, this morning offered for sale by auction Captain Hutchison’s three-year-old colt King Philip, hy Camden—Lady Dowling. The highest bid was 330 guineas, and he was passed in at 4o() guineas.
