CORPORATION NOTICES CEPS’ OF DUNEDIN. CORPORATION WATER SUPPLY. WATER RATEPAYERS resident at the hilly or higher portions of the city who, owing to the temporary want of pressure from the reservoir consequent upon the drought, may not be obtaining a supply of water in the usual way, are now being supplied by means of water carts especially employed for the purpose. If by any accident any water ratepayer should not receive a supply by water cart, statedly, any complaint to that effect will receive due attention. Each water cart has a bell, attached, wjxich announces its approach, and buckets should be sent to the carts by all persons wanting a supply therefrom. By order. J. M, MASSEY, Town Clerk. April 30,1875. I T Y OF DUNEDIN.; THE CORPORATION WATER SUPPLY, i The City Council is necessitated to give notice, that, from and after Friday evening,. April 30th' inst., the Public Supply of' Water will only bei available between the hours of 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.; and that during all other hours the supply will be turned off at head-quarters. In view of the prevailing dry weather, and the low ntate of the Reservoir, this step is necessary at the present time in order to conserve the water for household purposes, but the restriction will not be continued longer than : may be necessary. The Council cannot too strongly urge upon all citizens the importance of being economical, during the dry weather, in the use of water from the Waterworks, and of reporting to the Council or to tho Waterworks Inspector any instances of waste which may come under their notice.
