GOVERNOR WELD IN A DIFFICULTY.

S:m e °f the adventmes encountered by Ho.omal Governors in their vice-regal progresses are ludicrous enough, but it is not often that any of her Majesty’s representatives meet with such a series of contretemps as recently occurred to Mr Weld, the Governor of Tasmania. His Excellency, who waaenvior* to visit the norfch-w.st portion ot his dominions, made arrangements with the steamer Derwent to touch at Circular Mead, and leave him there.
