It will take 60,000 yards of carpet to furnish this great hotel, which is about equal'to / 4 S ® lles of single brehdtk stretched out I be parlors wdl be carpeted with Axminjster, each hemp fitted with one complete piece, wove exactly to the size of the floor. It is estimated that the making of the carpet will require the running of thirty-five looms, night and day, for t.vo mon hs.—Sau Francisco paper.
