A special meeting of the City Counoil will be held at 4 p.m. to-morrow, to consider draft of proposed arbitration bonds, re wid.ning Princes street, abutting the Corporation reserve north of Police street, and to make any advisable or necessary alteration's therein.
At the last committee meeting of the Canterbury Sunday Soho d Union, it was resolved to co-operate with the A uckland Society irt accepting tho oiler of Mr Phillip Phillip -to visit Now Zealand. Ho is engaged in Melbourne and suburbs for 100 nights, and at the close of that time he will visit Canterbury m route for San Francisco.
