Mr Nome, the new rector of the High School began his duties yesterday morning, with a large increase in the number of schalars In the last six months of last year 105 were enrolled, and in the first quarter of this year 120 Today and yesterday seventeen fresh names were erroled; but one or two pupils of last quarter have left. There having been a number of fresh applications for enrolment to-dav it is expected that the roll will to-morrow show a total of 1 35.
