She left Hokitika on the 6th instant; had light easterly winds along the West Coast, and passed the S.W. M'Millan and Son launched, from their dockyard at Dumbarton, an Iron sailing ship, named the Earl of Zetland, of 1,540 tons register, and highest class at Lloyd’s. This vessel is built to the order of Messrs Alexander Thomson and Nephews, Grangemouth, and proceeds to London to take passenger and cargo to New Zealand, being chartered by Messrs Shaw, Savile and Co. As usual with Messrs M'Millan, they launched the ship with all spars aloft.
