A CORRECTION.
To the Editor. , SlB, —I see in your paper of last night’s issue it was stated in the police-court report of the case about myself, that the metal was found in my possession. I beg most respectfully to state that it was never on my premises until it was brought there by Constable Bain fourteen days after I sent it to Mr Burt The publication of this contradiction will have the effect of vindicating my character against such proceedings.—l am, &c., Francis Crowd he, Marine store, Filleul street.
