ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE FUNERAL.

The remains of the deceased Judge will be carried to their final resting plaice in the Southed Cemetery to-morrow afternoon. As a markof respect, the Provincial Government offices will be closed at Ip.m. ; and the Mayor makes ,4s appeal to the citizens (which we are sure will he unanimously complied with) to suspend business and close their establishments while the funeral procession n asses through the City* We believe that as many of the goldfields officials as can reach Dunedin in time, and a number of miners from Hie Blue Spur will attend the funeral, and we have been requested to state that any public body desirous or being represented, and accidentally overlooked, communicate as early as possible to-morrow morning with any of the marshals—Messrs IT, Scott, J. R. Mills, J. Milner, and H. Gouriey. The following will be the order of procession, which will form in front.of the Post-office, at S p.m. to-morrow :

Mounted Troopers. Foot Police. Volunteers. The Mayor and City Council. The Superintendent and Provincial Executive. Members of the General Assembly and Provincial Council. The Clergy. Hearse. Mourning Coaches. Judges and Members of the Legfcl.Professiob.: Magistrates, Goldfields Wardens and Officials. Medical and other Professional Men. Merchants, Bankers, and others. Citizens on foot. Citizens on Horseback, Vehicles.
