PUBLIC Notice is Hereby Given, that the Assessment of all Buildings, Lands, Tenements, and Hereditaments within the City of Dunedin, as authorised by “ The Otago Municipal Corporations Ordinance, 1865,” and “ The Otago Municipal Corporations Ordinance Amendment Ordinance, 1872,” or the year ending December 31st, 1875, according to the full, fair, and estimated annual rent at which the same might reasonably be expected to let from year to year, free of all usual tenants' rates and taxes, and deducting therefrom the probable average annual cost of repairs, insurance, and other expenses if any) ueccssai’y to maintain the same in a state to command such rent, has been duly made. Notice is further given, that the said Assessment navmg, on the third day of March, 1875, been allowed by the Council of the said City, is now deposited and may be daily inspected, at the Town Clerk’s office, in Manse street, in the said City, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 pan., by any person interested therein. And notice is further given, that any Appeals igainst the said Assessment may be lodged at the City Council Chambers, Manse street,! where blank corns may bo had), on or before the 22nd March instant ; also, that a copy of each notice of Appeal ’.s required by law to bo served not later than the -2nd instant, upon any person whose name it may be proposed to insert in the Assessment, whose property, it may bo alleged, has been omitted therefrom, or assessed below its full, fair, and annual value.
