(From our own Correspondent.) Mir, ton, March Bth. An inquest has been hold to-day on the body of I'redorick Mahcw, wbo.se body was found in the bush on Monday by Constable /Vitcheson. Mahewhad been in Milton drinking‘for some (lays, and on Sunday week left in a state of delirium to return to his work at Margrie’s sawmid, He was last seen alive on Thursday evenug. On Friday information was given to the police, and yesterday the search party found his 1 lody in a gully. The Herald says his head was thrust out of sight under a log, evidently iu horror of the fancied fiends pursuing him, his arms being drawn up, and his body contorted from the efforts he had made to shut out the horrors of his delirium.
