The return match between the Tokomairiro and Albion Cricket Clubs took place on the Southern Oval to-day ; Mr Paratuor umpired or the local 4 earn and Mr Currie for the visitors. ohen, the Albion’s captain, having won the toss, decided to take the field, and Dickson and Adams appeared to face the bowling of Shopherd and Wells. Dickson, who is a capital bat, was extremely unfortunate, being bowled in his first over by Shepherd. Adams was the only one who succeeded in getting into double figures, he having contributed eleven by good play. Wells and Shepherd bowled well throughout, and Goudie long-stopped very creditably. Cox* head made a difficult catch, and the innings closed for 54. Kirk and Hutchison then went to the wickets, and Hutchison was given win out the very first ball, though |the decision was very much questioned. Buchanan filled the vacancy, but Reid made a brilliant onehanded catch, and Kirk had to retire. The visitors will be entertained at supper this evening. BRUCE HERALD CRICKET CLUB.
