To the Editor, Sir,—A township situate in the bosom of the Garden of Otago, Taiori Plain, emits a fragrance of perfume equal to a manure depot. The only wonder is how our township is not plague-stricken ere now. If Dr Bakcwcll would pay us a visit I am sure ho could furnish you with a report that would create greater astonishment than did Dr Cougl trev’s in Cromwell.—l am, &e., , Or FACTO 111 AX. iehruary 22.
