Wellington, for Northern Ports, February 21. The p.s. Comerang arrived last night from the Bluff and passed up to Dunedin. The p.s. Samson returned last night from her Oamaru trip, and steamed alongside the ship Mataura to discharge wool. The s.B. Express arrived this morning from hj« usual trip to the Bluff, which she left at 6.30 last evening. Passed the steamers Wanganui and Tararua off the Nuggets, Had light N. winds to arrival. After coaling she passed up to Dunedin. The NZ.S.S. Co.’s s.j. Wellington, from Northern Ports, arrived alongside the railway pier at 5,15 p. m. yesterday. She left Onehunga on the 11th at 1.15 p.m., Taranaki at 11 a.m. next day, Nelson at 2.30 p.m. on the 13th, Picton afc 1,15 a.zn, on the 11th, Wellington 4.15 p.m. on the loth, and Lyttelton at 5.15 p.m. on the 16th. We thank her purser (Mr Eead) i for report and exchanges. She was taken into the Graving Dock this morning to , cleaned and have her bottom re-coated. The wool ships at the railway pier and the new jetty are fast filling up with their outward cargoes. At the railway pier the ship May Queen has the wholerof her wool on board, and the press was commenced to be taken down this morning. She will probab’y sail on Saturday for London. The barque Sunlight, loading for Boston, requires about 700 more bales, and v? 1 for her “ coming rather slow. The ship Nelson commenced yesterday to take in wool, and has about 150 bales on board. At the new jetty the ship Auckland will finish loading on Saturday, and conanocncod tKio morning to bend sails, and will sail for London about Wed nesdaynext. The ship Mataura received 299 bales this morning from the p.s. Samson, and has now about 1,000 bales on board. There are now only two vessels discharging at the railway P** r - The Sophia Joakim has discharged more than half her cargo, which has turned out in hrst rate order. The barque Chaudibre is discharging very slowly, on account of her cargo for Wellington and this port having been mixed.
