DUNEDIN MUNICIPAL BONDS FOR SALS BY TENDER. rjIENDERS will be received at the Town A Clerk’s Office, Manse street, on or before Friday, 12th March, 1875, at 4 p.ra., lor the whole or any portion of (L 25,000) Twenty-five Thousand Pounds, value of Dunedin Municipal Bonds. The Bonds are issuable under the authority and provisions of the Otago Municipal Corporations Ordinance, 1865 ; bear interest at the rate of six per cent, per annum, payable half-yearly; and are secured on the City rates. The Bonds are for LIOO each, and will be redeemable in the year 1905. At the option of any purchaser, the Council undertakes to pay principal and interest in either London, Melbourne, Sydney, or Dunedin. ,Tenders to be endorsed “Tender for Municipal Bonds.” .1. M. WHEREAS many complaints have recently been made to the effect that the dust boxes are allowed to remain on the kerb stones and footpaths of the City, to the obstruction of'traffic and to the annoyance of the | public. Notice is Hereby Given that the Couuj oil of the City directs that all dust boxes are only to be placed ou the kerb stones upon the approach of the dust cart. All persons allowing their boxes to remain upon the public streets, either prior to their being emptied or subsequently, will be proceeded against for an infringement of the byelaw which prohibits obstructions in the stieats. The present arrangement is that the carts start from Princes street south and from George street, at the White Horse Hotel, simultaneously, daily, at 8 a.m., and proceed thence towards the centre of the City. The streets traversed daily by the c mtraotor’s carts are as under Princes street, from Anderson’s Bay Road to Octagon. George street, from Octagon to Frederick street. Great King street, the whole length. Bond street, the whole length. Crawford street, do Hope street, do Walker street, from Melville street downwards. Stafford street, from Hope street downwards. High street, do do Maclaggan street, from Clark street downwards. Rattray street, from Canongate street downwards. Clark street, from Maclaggan street eastwards. Manor street, Police street, Jetty street, Liverpool street, and Water street. Anderson’s Bay road, from Princes street to Crawford street. Dowling street, from Princes street eastwards. Moray place, all round. Gaol street. Castle street, from St. Andrew street southwards. Cumberland street, do do St. Andrew street, from Filleul street to Castle street. FilleuP street, between St. Andrew street and Moray place. Frederick street, between George street and Great King street.
