To the Editor. Sir,— The Permissive Bill may be one way of Checking drunkenness. Here is a better method. The ‘ Times’ says if the clergy of all denominations .will unite in enforcing the duty ’of moderation in the us 3 of stimulants, they will aid the reform of. popular habits j*nd the enactment of practicable regulations for controlling the liquor traffic. —I am, &c., .
