A STATION WANTED.
To the Editor. Sib, —I am surprised to see the rising town ship of Eavensbourne so little cared for by the Government. A few days ago my attention was drawn to it by seeing a number of respect-able-looking ladies waiting in the pouring rain for the train. Might I suggest to the Government the propriety of placing there a few old sentry-boxes that I see scattered about in the neighborhood of Dunedin, until they can afford to erect a station. —I am, &c , E. Bacon. Dunedin, February 5.
