A Decorator’s Difficulty. Bauclry. the decorator of the new Opera House in Paris, was sadly bothered for 'an idea by which to represent the “Music of England,” emblematically in his frescoes. He painted finally three little genii. One carried the Irish harp, the other the Scotch bagpipes, and the third paid the two first for playing, and tried to look as if he understood the music. So says a French wag.
