Golden Age, The New Zealand Shipping Co.’s fine new said Waikato, having received last night the remainder of her wool by the p. s. Samson, will be removed from the new pier and anchored in the stream. She will probably sail for London to-morrow. The s.s. Express returned from her southern trip at 11 o clock this morning, and steamed alongside the barque Sunlight to discharge 50 bales of wool. She left the Bluff at 4.30 p.m. yesterday, having had a strong N.E. wind during the passage. Captain Christian reports passing a barque in the straits.
