THE DUNEDIN SCHOOL COMMITTEE.
To the Editor. Siß,—l am glad that your correspondent “ Inquirer” should have drawn attention to the fact that Mr J. L. Gillies is neither a householder nor a ratepayer in Dunedin, and therefore not eligible for election as a member of the School Committee. In fact, sir, his presence on the Committee will render all their proceedings entirely illegal, and i know of several who will show this at the next annual election.—l am, &c., Honesty, Dunedin, January 18.
