Th mas Bisset was brought up on the information of Sergeant Neil who had reason to mspect that he did kill or murder one George Aldridge, with malice aforethought, on or about the 29 th December, 1874. Mr Joyce appeared for the accused. The witnesses called by the prosecution were Samuel Wells, Alice Ruth, Richard Rose, James Dingwall, Sergeant Neil, Dr Drysdalo, and Constable Carter, but the evidence was simply a repetition of that given at the coroner’s inquiry.
