Wednesday, December 16. (Before T. A. Manaford, Esq., R.M.) Drunkenness. —Thos. Kennedy and Alex. M Donald were each lined 10?, in default twenty-four hours’ imprisonment, for drunken and disorderly conduct. CIVIL CASES In the following cases judgment waa given for plaintiffs :—D Robertson v. J, Patterson, L 3 7s 6d ; W H. M‘Keay v. A M Pherson, L 18; A. Durie v A. Hill, 1.28 3s 4d; T, Brown v. S. Russell, L2 9s 6A ; A. and T. Burt v. T. Smith; L 8 17s 7d ; Dodd v. M'Naraara. 1.4 5?. James M‘Donald v. *. G. Allan.—This was a suit to re over LlO for trespass on land. Mr Adams for plaintiff, and Mr Harris for defendant. It was contended that plaintiff had no legal title to the land, and he was accordingly non-suited. Couzeas v. Gro-e.—LI 4s, for bouse rent, and to recover possession of a house. ment fer plaintiff, defendant being ordered to quit in a week’s time.
