Waikato, for London, December 27, The N.Z.S.S. Co.’s Taranaki sailed yesterday morning for Northern ports. The barque Robert Jones, for Newcastle, sailed this morning, having a fine S.W breeze. The Harbour Co.’s s.s. Brace sailed last evening for her usual trip to Lyttelton and intermediate ports. Messrs M‘Meckan and Blackwood’s s.s. Claud Hamilton sailed this afternoon for Melbourne via Northern and West Coast ports. . Messrs Patrick Henderson’s fine ship Christian M'Ausland, with a full cargo and fifteen passengers, for London, was towed to sea early this morning by the tug Geelong. Messrs Houghton’s s.s. Wanganui at rived alongside the old jetty at 2 p.m. {yesterday from her usual trip to the Bluff. She left Riverton at 2 a.m. on Saturday, and reached the Bluff at 6 a.m.; left for Port Chalmers at 7 p.m. on Saturday, and arrived as above. Ihe N.Z.S.S. Co.’s s.s. Phoebe arrived alongside the railway |)it*r shortly after noon yesterday with a good cargo and 38 passengers from the Northern ports. She left the Manakau at 4.30 pm. on the Bth, called at Taranaki Nelson, _ Picton, Wellington, and Lyttelton’ And arrived as above. We thaiik her purser (Mr Barber) for report and exchanges. From private information we learn that the barque Speedwell, which was supposed to be lost, arrived at Kaipara on the 29th November, after a passage of six w-eeks from Lyttelton! The Alexandra brig arrived there same day, and the barque Annie Lisle also arrived after a fine passage of twelve days from this port. They are all taking in cargoes of timber for this port. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. Wellington, December 12.—The s.s. Easby arrived here at ten this morning. Gbeymoutr, December 14.-Sailed-Maori, for Bluff and Dunedin, at ten p.m. on Saturday.
